Food & Drink at Ardeonaig
The ‘formal’ restaurant at Ardeonaig closes on 1st May 2018. The kitchen will, however, continue to offer food throughout the
day and cater for functions and events.
A generous cold buffet breakfast will be served to our guests daily in the Riverview restaurant.
We have made changes to our menus in order to provide something a little bit different, less formal, even ‘less boring’. These alterations to the foodservice however are sympathetic to the needs and requirements of our guests, whether that be the need to refuel after a walk or cycle, enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea in a beautiful setting or a leisurely evening of stunning views, fine wine and a sharing platter in our beautiful loch view study.
Our public areas of our cosy bar, the intimate lounges, relaxing loch view study together with the sheltered courtyard and garden seating, all lend themselves to any of our menu options – the choice is yours!
Parallel to the changes made, we maintain our ethos here at the heart of Ardeonaig and remain committed to providing an informal, relaxing and peaceful experience for all of our guests in this most beautiful and romantic setting.
Lunch will be a menu of wholesome soup and various sandwiches. Fresh scones served with jam and cream are available all day. Afternoon tea, highly recommended, is served throughout the afternoon with, of course, an option of adding Prosecco! An evening menu of light plates including pate, anti-pasti, cheeses and some sweeter choices can be enjoyed in the public area of your choice.
We have teamed up with the renowned Mains of Taymouth Courtyard to offer you the option of a delicious hamper of tempting treats, for you to enjoy at your leisure during your stay. Enjoy them where you please - whether in your room, the library, or even down by the loch for a romantic picnic.
Our cosy bar remains well stocked with wines, bottled Scottish lagers and ales along with speciality gins and traditional Scottish malts together with a range of soft drinks to compliment your chosen meal option.
Guests who would prefer to enjoy a more formal dinner experience and a more extensive menu choice will be made very welcome at Killin Hotel at the west end of Loch Tay.
Room service is available at your request.
