Please, please, please remember we are a small owner operated 3 star INN not a 5 star corporate operation and as such what we offer and our facilities are very different from what you may have experienced elsewhere. .....................we trust like many others before you we will enchant you, suprise you, but most of all have you wanting to come back to visit again before even leaving us.

We are proud to be able to offer you real "Scottish/Colonial" style hospitality and warmth in the heart of Scotland with fantastic local produce on our tables every day of the year.

We aim to offer friendly, efficient and yet relaxed, professional service with many extra comforts. Ardeonaig has earned a reputation for class, sophistication, attention to detail and of course food.

Food and wine play a very important part in everyday life at Ardeonaig and sourcing locally produced ingredients and using only the best that local farmers have to offer is very important to us. Using the best that Scotland has to offer (such as local Black faced Lamb) is one of the secrets to our continued culinary success. The sourcing of top class ingredients makes life in the kitchen much easier as we do not need to mask foods with heavy, old fashioned type sauces. Instead, we choose to let the natural flavour of the product shine through. (Please see our restaurant page for more details and sample menu's)

We are extremely proud of our exclusively South African and we believe that it is one of, if not the largest such list outside of South Africa. We often "SABRAGE" bubblies from "Pierre Jourdan" in the courtyard during the summer and as is now tradition at Ardeonaig this is how we see in the new year, but with a magnum! Come and experience our fantastic range of wines from the Cape.

The hotel is set within 14 acres of its own private gardens, bordered by Finglen Burn to the East and Loch Tay to the North the hotel enjoys magnificent uninterrupted views across Loch Tay to the summit of Ben Lawers.

The hotel also boasts its own excellent Salmon fishing on the loch and has access to beats both on the Dochart and Tay rivers. With our own harbour, boats and Ghillies everyone has a chance to catch the "King of Fish", the elusive Atlantic Salmon.
